The Land Knows You

This is an original collection of landscapes at Smith Rock State Park in Oregon. This painting is made of 35 individual tiles. The tiles are each individually mounted on foam for a 3-dimensional appearance. The painting features a quotation by Robin Wall Kimmerer: “The land knows you, even when you are lost.”

Medium: Watercolor, gouache, acrylic marker.

Dimensions: The painting is 22 x 30 in within a 30 x 38 in frame. The frame is locally made in Bend, Oregon, out of maple wood, with a glass covering. It is stunning, to say the least.
